And with 14 games a season now its not like its much of a feat. We used to scoff at QBs who could throw for 300 yards a game. Now its our new gold standard apparently.
I agree that 3,000 yard seasons are not as impressive as they were back when teams played fewer games. However, 300 yards per game is still an impressive stat. Last season there were only 9 FBS QBs that averaged 300 yards per game.

We were more of a roller coaster last year when it came to passing stats... top 3 games passing yardage wise: Kentucky (320), Tennessee (296), and Alamabama (261). We passed for under 200 against Vanderbilt (144), Georgia (131), LSU (144), and FSU (149). We went up and down a couple of times if you look at the game by game break down.
