Its numbers crete. 5 guys can't block 8. Ever since we lost grier the box is stacked again. The offensive line isn't great but treon is making them look worse than they actually are.
I know Vandy was bring 5 up to the los, but the last 2 weeks we've going up against 3 and 4 man fronts.....there's no way LB's guess right every single time.

The fist deep one to Robinson could have been caught. On the deep ball to Robinson that went out of bounds, Robinson caught it about 3 inches out of bounds and really made no effort whatsoever to keep his feet in. The pick was probably the most accurate deep ball he threw all day, but obviously should never have been thrown with the safety there.
Wow, those are some Treon blinders you are wearing. Wrong shoulder pass that flipped the receiver around..ball out of bounds...floater hail mary pass is the accurate description.

I agree with you Rocket. After his fumble that FAU scored the touchdown on his emotion was just the same as if he had made a first down, nothing. Although we cannot tell what his demeanor is just by viewing, but it does tell alot.

So we all can agree that Treon could be a bad azzzz poker player. Tauren Green had the same face playing PG for Fla.

More or less I agree with this.
There is one thing that bothers me though. I almost feel like other teams have stolen our signals or something to that effect. It is almost unnatural for opposing LB/DE's to be right in the correct gap every single time we try to run the ball....Think back to the Vandy game then rewatch them, Vandy, USCe and FAU had perfect gap assignment and anything we've picked up has been all KT. Notice also that every time we try to roll Treon to the right there is a perfectly timed blitz which disrupts the timing of the play...Something has tipped off others teams what our offense is about to run IMO.
They haven't stolen our signals. They just know we can't execute. Ever since the Vandy game where the employed a "spy" on Treon he's been completely ineffective. He was effective on some roll out plays before the spy came into play. Now, when he rolls out, play over because there's someone in his face. He can't throw from the pocket, he can't throw on the run, has no zip on the ball and no timing. Other than that, he's great.

I don't know where else to post this, but Josh Grady's toss pitch to KT counted as a pass attempt yesterday since it went slightly forward. And since it went 7 yards, it kept KT from having a 100 yard day rushing. Are they really that nitpicky with stats? It was clearly a running play.

Look at the bright side. Our backup QB has a 100% completion percentage. Clearly we should be playing him instead.

I'm starting to think that Harris is a round peg in McElwain's square hole offense. McElwain wants Harris to be a drop back passer and that just isn't who he is. They need to adjust the offense. I think Harris would do better in a spread type offense with more read option type plays to take advantage of his ability to run the ball. I am getting the feeling that McElwain is not coaching to the players strength right now.

Then you really would not care for what I would like to see next week for the 'Noles.

I didn't say it was a great pass, I just said it could have been caught. It very nearly was. The out of bounds pass would have required a highlight reel catch -- a very unlikely catch, but Robinson could have at least tried.

No doubt about the spy on Treon, and actually UGAY started doing that but the guy kept taking bad angles at Treon allowing him to at least have a little success. My bigger point is the fact that for the last 3 weeks we've made average LBer's look like the 1985 Chicago Bears unit stopping our run game. Now I know our run game wasn't the greatest to begin with but we were popping some runs here and there with a little consistency. Now every running play is met with a perfectly placed LB.

We're no longer stretching the defense with our passing game and it's being felt against the run.

You can't really change the play book 11 weeks into the season. He may try and add some stuff during the bowl preparations. They'll have several weeks then.

They always said they had packages for Treon. It shouldn't be changing the shoe playbook, but incorporating stuff that plays to Treons strengths as a runner?

Oh... Can he also learn to slide!!!

Our QB cannot see open receivers; good plays are toast. Our good receivers
seem dispirited; who could blame them, average 10 completions or less per game ?
Whole offense seems faithless. Struggled to get 14 points in regulation vs FAU.

Now we have to fear FSU ?

I think whoever is backing up Treon will see playing time in the next 2 games. Both the holes and bammer are going to kill the poor guy. Get ready for run stuffed, QB scramble to sideline for loss, QB sails ball into stands and takes shots from defenders. If he was scared of FAU the guy is going to be terrified of the next 2 defenses. Good luck to the coaching staff to try to put together a package that will move the ball at all. This offense is pathetic.

If Mac was going to switch QBs, FAU would have been the time. I don't think he does it against FSU or Bama unless TH is injured.

Was you not around the last few years? Hell, driskel even got bood off the field last year. Treon hasn't seen a fraction of what driskel got on these message boards.
