This is pretty impressive:
UCF plans lazy river as part of athletics village renovations
UCF already added cabana seating to the football stadium. Now they’re looking at building a lazy river as part of an athlete recovery zone.
On Monday, athletic director Danny White announced a more than $5 million donation toward a $25 million athletics village project. The donation has put the school past the $10 million mark.
Among the upgrades in the project include that recovery zone, a football operations enhancement, a student-athlete nutrition center, an athletics plaza and more.
“We are going to build the finest athletics village in the nation, which will help us recruit and retain championship-caliber coaches and student-athletes to achieve all of our dreams for UCF athletics,” White said in a video about the project.
In an era where Clemson's new football building has a putt-putt course, a slide and a nap room, a lazy river for those hot Florida summers sounds comforting.
