Coincidentally, your mom calls my junk "The Truth"The truth hurts sometimes.
If it hurts, it sounds like a medical situation.Coincidentally, your mom calls my junk "The Truth"
I love this GIF some much. It's been a while since I've seen it. It's a great tutorial on self defense.
You know a scary thought. Taggart was actually worse at fsu than Napier's been here. Statistically, anyhow.Exactly, meaning this:
IF Stricking/Sasse knew right now that Napier wasn't going to work out, they still wouldn't fire him for reasons of optics/admittance of failure, etc. A serious program would.
I was actually stunned when FSU fired Taggart when they did. I didn't think there was a chance in hell, and yet they went ahead and did it. Have to give credit where credit is due there.
Not sure what you mean by cultural and offensive fit unless you are talking about it being a heavy pass scheme offense. Pretty sure everyone saw that it wasnt that at all from the get go. Again, scheme doesnt really matter in the SEC if you dont fix the trenches, which he didnt/hasnt. At this point, culturally we'd all be happy to be arguing about how boring our offense is/was if we won 10+ games a season...so dont really care too much about cultural fit. Nobody was complaining about cultural fit in 2006 and 2008 when we ran dumb arse option plays with Leak and then Tebow left, Tebow right because we was winning. And we was winning because of a strong OL and a punishing D. Only 1 natty during all those Spurrier cultural years...and guess what...because our OL and defense was strong that year.He sold that we would also play smart, discipline football, which we are still waiting to see in year 2.... but the issues of him as a cultural and offensive fit were all there at UL if you wanted to see them.... some didn't. Also you had to also believe that the UAA was suddenly going to change.
Here's the thing , despite the errors he made in recruiting or things that didn't go his way. Even though, I will say, he played the portal with zero urgency this off-season. But to my point, you have to be able to win games on the field more than anything. If you look back at all the one score games at ULL. That includes games where teams from the bottom of the sunbelt were close. And the extremely vanilla scheme and play calling was never going to translate. His tendency to get really conservative when the game is close or when we lead would never lead to anything. You could give him the Georgia roster and he'd still have lost 3 or 4 games. I just don't see how replacing half the staff is going to change the way he coaches. He did a lot of stuff right and he immediately addressed the recruiting issues (minus OL and LB) which has been the biggest issue holding us back. He (the staff he assembled) proved to be really good at evaluating talent as well. I think his approach of playing the long game, instead of selling a bit of the future for the present, along with Eddie Rojas (and taking to long to get or NIL game straight) fuggin up the 23 class, is haunting him. His opening speech when being introduced as the new head coach made it very clear that he was going to rebuild the team from the LOS out...but he didnt do that and I think that was the biggest issue that has got us to where we are today. I dont care what scheme you run, if you got 3* skilled players and 4-5* LOS talent, the scheme is going to work out. We got strong 4* skilled players along with 3* LOS talent and just like all the teams under chump, butters and muLLLLLLLen, whenever we faced a good LOS team we lose.
He is now at the end of year 2 with a hot seat, firing position coaches which is going to most likely ripple into the 24 recruiting class, and staring down into the #1 hardest schedule in 24. I really liked the hire considering the realistic options available at the time because he was saying (and initially doing) the right things from the get go. Im hoping for a miracle and he somehow pulls it out but I just dont see how that can possibly happen unless we are on the Dabo Sweeney 7-8 year burn in model. Going to be an interesting off season starting with ESD but seems pretty obvious which way this is headed now.
Fuchs Foley.
I kinda think he would be undefeated if he had uga's roster, assistants and schedule. Again...he didnt fix the OL and even though he has made big strides on the DL he probably had the wrong coaches and kinda failed at recruiting the LBs. I think I would be undefeated as the head coach of uga if I had that roster, assistants and schedule. Its the perfect example of having a dummy game day coach getting so much talent that he totally kirby-proofed it. Watched a lot of their games this season and they are so vanilla and boring but the talent just ends up winning it.Here's the thing , despite the errors he made in recruiting or things that didn't go his way. You must of have loved you so Muschamp in 2012, because he won 11 games with an anemic offense. Not sure what you mean by cultural and offensive fit unless you are talking about it being a heavy pass scheme offense. Rather frighteningly, I actually know someone extremely connected to the FSU program (I really do) and money didn't have a damn thing to do with it. The guys at the top were embarrassed and wanted to win.but there were a TON of FSU alumni/ex players that were demanding an immediate change and threatening to withhold donations/giving support middle of that season when they fired Taggart. Moral of the story is the threat of turning off the spigot of $ caused FSU to pull the plug on the Willie Experiment, which leads to the question of what effect ex Gator players publicly demanding change immediately would have on Strick and Sasse making a change? Fan base bitching is one thing, but people with a legacy and program clout seem to move the needle more than myself telling the UAA I'm withholding my yearly Bull Gator money from them.
Well can you blame them?Rather frighteningly, I actually know someone extremely connected to the FSU program (I really do) and money didn't have a damn thing to do with it. The guys at the top were embarrassed and wanted to win.
No one has any clout with Sasstriclin. They don't listen to anyone. They even ignored Durty's email.
Not hardly. Stetson Bennett threw for over 4k yards last year and that peckerwood that they have now is at 3500. They're balanced. I can guarantee you that kirby wouldn't run the clock out with 2 minutes to go before the half in a tie ball game. Billy makes kirby look like Mike leachI kinda think he would be undefeated if he had uga's roster, assistants and schedule. Not the AD???!?!?!?!?!Rather frighteningly, I actually know someone extremely connected to the FSU program (I really do) and money didn't have a damn thing to do with it. The guys at the top were embarrassed and wanted to win.

You'll have to talk to mom about that one...I just bring "The Truth" to the equation! If it hurts, it sounds like a medical situation.
