We are down to only one OL coach now. Oh the humanity.
Stapleton to Commanders.
So he's moving on to the NFL. Good for him, probably a better job. When a suspect assistant moves up in rank, you have to wonder if he was better than we thought, and if the lesser coach remains. I know our now only OL Coach is being paid incredibly well, so there is that as well. Hard to know we are improved, or not.

Agree with asking what Napier will do with the slot. Can Napier make something happen that matters?

Like Toney last year, this was a case of seeking something better and leaving rather than any sort of logically concluded force out by Napier. So no, I do not expect to see some splash hire or structural change with regards to the offense or STs(all the bowl games are over, right?). He put his Rutgers level intelligence to work and got a jump start on the others.

STs miscues cost two games last season. If I'm the HC, I made note of that and put a priority on excellent STs preparation, if for no other reason to help cover the sideline blunders. Is it possible Napier is unaware that some communication and managemennt issues? Would also think the AD is in meetings with him asking why our structure is so unusual.

Good move for him but Napier losing an important element from his staff? Odd, our STs coordinator leaving for West Georgia. Would think a qualified STs veteran would land something better than a HS job.
Chris Couch was the ST coordinator last year. They hired Joe Houston from the NE Patriots to oversee ST this year. Not sure where that leaves Couch, but a staffer moving is no big deal.

In a round about way, I'm asking if a guy moving to West Georgia should have been STs coordinator and if Stapleton, able to be hired by an NFL team, might have been a decent OL coach after all- coach not recruiter. I guess none of it matters if Napier gets it right going forward.

Can you prove that? I can prove he's lost 7 games 2 years in a row. I can prove he's the only retard in the country with 2 OL coaches and no QB, OC or special teams coach. I can prove he's the only 2nd year coach in the country that has already had over 60% first recruiting class abandon his ass. I can prove he's been given more resources and has better facilities then any other coach in school history and yet is the worse in my lifetime.

Defending him by saying he works really hard is like someone defending their obese, toothless, unemployed, cheating wife by saying she has a good personality. He's a **** coach and a snake oil salesman, luckily for us it'll be over in roughly 9 months.
Where the hell is that Morgan Freeman gif when you need it?
