UF has been one of the most, if not the most, dominant athletic program in the country for the last 2 decades. Foley gets all the credit for that. We are top 10 in national titles.

There are always crowds watching, so it's good to see the Gators run away with the title.
There's not a lot of costs involved, simpler shoes are involved. Most our people are just running
around, outdoing the uniforms of Bama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU etc. It's always good to have all the
other SEC schools thinking "damn, how are we gonna beat Florida".

There was a time our track program was a way to entice some football players. We have had a few that ran some track with a football schollie. Wrestling did the same thing,

I get the sense Foley is mocked by some here by those who only care about Gator football and that's getting old. One said we are the best at exercising. Really? Everyone thinks Mac was a good hire. Sure Will was bad but we are past that.

Congrats to the mens track team for winning the Gators first NC of the school year and 37th overall. The prospect of going the entire school year with no NC's was real. This NCAA title was really needed and the first NC for mens sports in a couple years. With softball losing at home to UGA in the super regionals and the prospect of baseball losing at home to FSU in the super regionals this bit of good news on the track title was a pleasant surprise since they didn't even contend for the indoor title. Coach has done a fine job with the men. But what's he going to do with the women who fonished tied for 9th?
