UGA lost their best RB recruit Zamir White to an ACL. UGA still has James Cook and the RBs already on the roster. Wish Zamir the best.

UGA still has James Cook (10.53 100 meter) (5-11 185) who was a higher ranked RB than UF's RB Dameon Pierce (11.91 100 meter) (5-10 215) ( who broke Herschel Walker's high school records). Pierce is much stronger (600 pound squat) and bigger than Cook so I think he will impact in physical SEC quicker. Zamir White (6-0 215) ran a 10.58 100 meter.

UGA had very good injury luck last season. UF is way over due for some good injury luck.

Good topic but you do realize it's been since 1965 that anyone gave a shyt about 100 meters speed.

Wrong when looking at most high schoolers' 40 time. High school 40 times are BS all the time. 100 meter track times are more objective in high school.

If they get laser timed at the high school national combines or at NFL combine that is legit time but many high school 40 times get disproven by the NFL laser time

Kadarius Toney and Dalvin Cook didn't have the best 40 times but they are quick as hell in traffic.

Maybe the NFL people aren't as worried about the 40 to 109.361 time as they are getting to 40 from a standstill since everything evolves from a line of scrimmage. Then again, you have a ready excuse for everything dumbazz you say.

Or a logical response to the ill informed stuff you say.

They laser time the 40 in the NFL because it is relevant. High school 40 times many times are hand timed which is not as objective as the 100 meter at the high school track meets. So when comparing high school players from around the country an objective way to compare is their shorter distance track times like the common 100 meter. The best is to bring them into your camp like FNL and see how they do versus similar top talent.

I just let you edit your posts to the point where you essentially agree with what I said. The rest is all bluster.

You are all bluster. Many of the top athletes run track (there is no high school 40 track event)and if you think that recruiters don't look at their 100 times you are sadly mistaken.

SOME high school football players run track. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the overwhelming majority of offensive linemen, defensive linemen, linebackers, tight ends and strong safeties, which comprises most of the roster, probably don't run track.

The 40 time is the standard.

Shockingly, byrd wants to argue meaningless minutia until the cows come home. He'll never let anything go.....ever. He has to get the last word.
