The Chargers are playing in a soccer specific stadium that holds 27,000 seats. They had 25,000 in attendance, but surprised they couldn't sell out.
New stadium is set to hold 70,000. They better hope and pray they get moderately close to 70k or the NFL will look like idiots...more so.
That is absolutely crazy. When you think of the 1st regular season game for a team in its new city, you think excitement, hard to get tickets, etc.
They can't even sell out an MLS stadium.
Good, that's what you get for sticking it to the city and loyal San Diego Chargers fans.
