While we're talking about Vandy here let me give my warning now. This team is good. This isn't the Vandy of old they have a defense that's scary good. I just hope we've figured out something by then. They play Bama this weekend and I would not be shocked at all if they gave Bama the scare of their lives or even possibly upset them. You heard it here first.

These are the kinds of games where Saban thrives though. When they're beaten, it usually comes out of nowhere, or is just by a team with very comparable or(in his early years there) superior talent. It seems like the games we typically expect to be one of those "look out for ____" games are often his biggest blowouts. He's very atypical in that respect. I think it's close early but probably a 24+ point win when the dust settles. That's not an indictment of them, or disputing your thoughts on their improvement. I just don't think they have the horses. And hopefully it beats them up a little for us the following week.
