Seems I heard that the R8 is built almost the same as the Lambo Huracan as far as chassis goes? If so what other similar pieces do they share, engine, tranny?

I thought they only shared their V10 engine.

Gen 2 R8 ----> Huracan

Motor, tranny and various other components. The Audi has inputs that make it a better DD.

The LFA was more fluff than anything. No one took it all that serious. Toyota even did synthetic tuning of the exhaust note.

Toyota hinted at a successor to the LFA in 2014 with the FT 1 concept. I'm not aware of it having gone into production.
