FWIW @oxrageous I agree with you on the porn issue; no need to clog up this place with anything more risqué than what’s currently allowed in the Saloon - no shortage of other sites for that across the WWW. As for the curse words, I would leave that as is too. There’s plenty of ways around the filters and the whole “Fuchs” running joke is still amusing.

Pretty sure it wouldn't be overly difficult to set up the framework of the website...Xenforo is a pretty robust forum framework. If he wants to run it like a business (have revenue), well that requires some work doesn't it.

I like the Patreon idea, folks who contribute all the time are probably going to pay and stay. Not crazy about being extorted $60. Like the idea of actual info and content, also can be planned events and entertaining things ya can't get anywhere else. Been entertaining for years and on the local arts board.
