I think we should let the Old Ball Coach run it back a couple of more years until the successor becomes obvious.
If nothing else he needs to be on the committee for the new hire.

Yes.If nothing else he needs to be on the committee for the new hire.
Ive thought about this. First, we are just more talented than every team we play except Uga and LSU. So damn near ANY person you hire is going to go 10-2 unless they royally fuchs up.Also why the hell does every coach who comes here peak in the 2nd or 3rd year coaching up the former coach’s players before flaming out and leaving behind a dumpster fire for the next coach? .

The second issues is the rosters are actually more balanced in that 2nd maybe 3rd year. McElstain brought in a few holes to plug the gaps that Chimps defense only receuiting created. Mullinz brought in to fill a few of Sharky's recruiting, but he still benefitted from WR and QB who would never sign with Cousin Eddie.
Finally at some point the players just five up, seeing the losers for who they are, one of the primary impediments to their teams success, usually with oredictable and ultracomservative playcalling, in Cousin Eddie's instance high risk low reward playcalling.
Exactly.Nothing will change until the entire administration is turned upside down. The best we can hope for is to get lucky on the coach, but our ceiling is limited due to the administration.
Exactly.
The entire place needs fumigated. All they are concerned about is how much football money they can stuff in the sofa or their own wallets.
Not Fuchs.I can see Dan and Stricklin getting canned, but what is the likelihood of Fuchs going? He's probably gonna make the AD hire right, or at least have a big say son in it?
Being Muschimp light who lost to Muschimp and won 6 games with a 12 win roster. Weak/averagish recruiter. Not much of a DC. Will be hostage to trying to keep any even semidecent OC (bc they will leave to become HCs).I haven’t studied available coaches that much but lean to Luke Fickell. What’s his negatives?

No DCs ever. It's the kind of thing that happens at Iowas who are happy with 7-5 or 8-4.
You could just hire Muschimp back if you miss him so bad.
I don’t really know there’s any sure-fire guy out there that we would be able to land. We COULD hire anyone we want, but we aren’t committed enough.Well that was convincing…..perhaps I will rethink this.
