A good friend at Church was a former Tomcat pilot (became a medical doctor afterwards and presently works at NAS Jax)...but he's always had a wry smile on his face when talking about being a Tomcat pilot in the late 80s...:cool:

Bumping this. I was at Pendleton in the late 80’s. Miramar OClub was indeed wild. Club would be packed to the gills. I always appreciated the short stroll over to the rooms where you could entertain the nights catch. Everyone knew the lady’s name that ran that front desk.

Wasn’t there also a pool outside the main bar? Memory a little hazy.
