I knew it wasn’t official. But I was sick of the rust bucket photos
Not official. The guy posting said he forgot to add a ? at the end. Cool graphics from UF Athletics is probably what will signal the deal is done.
Got this thread back on recruiting and not VWs so my work here is done.

So we’re likely beating 2 of 3 rivals, but losing to the one that has more talent(with no real end to that pattern in sight), and more than likely slipping up against at least one opponent that’s on par with us(probably a West team) to end with roughly 2 losses.

Interesting. Sounds exactly like Spurrier’s entire 12 years here, minus ‘95 and ‘96.
Exactly. The Donk would have wanted Spurrier fired for having a losing record against FSU. :rolleyes3:

Spurrier went 8-2 vs UF's rivals his 1st 2 years of Aub,UT, UGA, LSU and FSU 4-2 when they were top 25 and 3 top 5 wins. Mullen's so far is 6-3 with 3 top 25 wins (Aub/UT will be ranked this year) Mullen is 3-3 when they're in the top 25( end of year rankings) it's pretty close. Maybe UGA will be mullen's kryptonite like FSU was to SOS(I hope not)

....Got pretty lucky this year but that usually comes back to haunt you the next year....

If I’m not mistaken you said the exact same thing last year. Oh well, with any luck we’ll lose several close ones next year. Then you can tell us about 10,000 times.

He predicted us to go 0-8 in SEC play two straight years.

short answer: because that offense sucks and the coaches that use it are losers.

Longer answer: because it's a lot easier for a defense to not worry about reading pass or run and just guard the area between two tackles.

Mullen is better than that, it is harder to defend sideline-to-sideline than it is tackle to tackle. that being said they only have two defend tackle to tackle and about 7 yards deep making pass/run reads so much easier.

Defending sideline-to-sideline and 20-yard deep is much harder, and having to read run or pass or RPO is harder still.

You notice are yardage really piles up in the fourth quarter of most games when we finally open up the offense.

Caveat: if your O's are better than their X's, then anything can work. we could have run the triple-option, the power I, or the air raid, with tebow and harvin and they all would have worked.
I thought you were M.I.A.

it was slightly more peaceful then

I read that before his injury Lingard ran the 40 in 4.27.... that's a wow! Hope he regains that speed.

He was tested. He has the speed back. Everything appears fine. As with all injuries like that, it is the mental side of things that takes time.
