Although not a rider I became hooked on the tour during Lemonds years of winning, just a national pride thing.
I was a huge Lance fan but he did a lot of dirty things to silence his critics.
I'll probably watch if for nothing else just to find out what you do with all the stuffed lions they give you after a stage win.

Because Oprah took her show off the air, otherwise he'd be a star guest and get the airtime he so rightly deserves. Instead, ESPN has to pick up the slack. I mean, it's not like Bruce..uh, Caitlin Jenner, is planning to change sex again for them.

What neighborhood do you live in? For every person under the age of 16 I see on a bike (almost never), there are 100 age 60 and over. Kids don;t do shyt anymore besides banging on their hand held devices. Why do you think society is so dumb and productivity is at an all time low? When was the last time you say KIDS playing backyard football? If you ever see a pick up basketball game in a hood, do you ever see one that the majority of guys are not 30+?

Well, I don’t want to get into too many specifics and potentially derail such a quality, substantive thread. But sadly, you’re largely correct. I do still see a decent amount in my area doing outdoor activities. My four are about to leave on a few mile ride ourselves. And football or basketball typically happens at my house once or twice a month on Saturday, increasing in frequency of late(maybe the only real positive to come out of this shutdown).

But regardless, I do agree with you. And if we’re recognizing that we’ve become a society that places too much emphasis on electronics, I say we put not watching a documentary on how to ride a bike really well with the help of steroids at the top of our “start here” list.
