0.3% of the US population for who it's more than "just the sniffles" is still over a million people.
Who cares if they get seriously ill or die, right?

Woah woah let's not bring data, logic, statistics, or medical expert opinions into this discussion. We want football and we don't care who it puts at risk.

Anybody who cares more about saving other people from death/hospital trips than our favorite pastime is a snowflake and deserves to be ridiculed as if their opinion is void of any thought.

Eventually there's going to be a university that says "screw it, we'll let our athletes play with coronavirus even though the odds of the athletes or other young people getting seriously ill is minimal."
Which university will take that risk?
And the first COVID case they get will be plastered all over the Media. See the recent developments for Tennis and Golf. We're screwed.

I agree, I don’t see a season this fall.

Camp is supposed to start in just over a month. Guys can’t even Lift weights with out getting the ‘Rona. Wait til they put pads on.

Also, you think these college kids are going to quarantine when not in practice!? Heck no, too much partying and poon-tang out there to sit in your section 8 dorm all day.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they try and start the season in the spring for $$$$ reasons though.

The problem is when a kid gets it and gets very sick, doesn't have to die. The media pile-on will end the season at that point.

Also a what if, imagine a QB room. One QB gets it, and every other QB on the roster has to self-quarantine for 14 days. There goes your season.

We need to get the exposure rate up to 40% at least for herd immunity.
