My family raised Pit bulls when I was growing up. I really love those and they truly do make great family pets. I currently want a Belgian Malinois. Doubt I'll ever get one but that is what I want.

Don’t get a Malinois unless you need a working dog for some reason, are prepared to spend the time and money to PROPERLY train it, and are prepared to put the dog down if it doesn’t take.

Staffordshire puppy...she’s going to get her ears done today

Very cute puppy! Not to be controversial but why do people still dock the ears and tails? Purely for looks?

Why? What is the point of altering a dog like that?

Growing up at one point we had two dogs, a pure-breed Pit bull and a pure breed Staffordshire. Incidently, "Peety" the dog from the original Little Rascals was a Staffordshire.

We’ve had issues with their ears getting infections a couple times and she’s gonna be a dog I use for coon hunting and catching squirrels

She also catches our chickens when they run off...easier not to be constantly cleaning out cuts n scrapes from beaks

Catching squirrels? It'd be easier to just shoot the little fuzzy gophers... ;)

Thanks man...her first one got hit by a car at our old house and the second one died from the opossum

That sucks! I caught a possum and raccoon last year in our fenced in dog yard and relocated them to a sleepy little town 20 miles to the south of us. Unlock other members on our board here that collect the raccoons. :p
