I'd rather see OSU make the playoff than see Bimbo have a chance at making the playoffs. Alabama is 100% in the playoffs no matter what happens in the SECCG.

Surely you don't think we beat Alabama that badly that they fall to 5. You are pretty much all sunshine, all the time, when it comes to Mullen, so I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise.

OSU has already won 5 games this year... smh...:headslap:

They will probably play Indiana for the 2nd time this year so they would be eligible to play in the Big10 championship game without a change of rules.
It was an exaggeration.....I know how many they played

Thanks for being garbage, B12 and P12. Now, even conference championship games aren't that meaningful because there's literally no one else to put in the playoff.

I'm no doctor, but you can't force him back into action if he's not ready. It just won't work. He needs time and it's just a waiting game at this point.

Pasta helps as well.

Stop your slander! Penix works just fine. He could get up if he wanted to. He just doesn't want to right now.

I dont give s crap if they get to the B10 title game and win, they don’t deserve the playoffs because theyre schedule is about as tough as BYUs.

I actually don't disagree. It's not Ohio State's fault they can't play. They didn't unilaterally make these rules. Their conference did. But as much as I hate certain SEC teams, I also don't think it would be fair that they play nearly double the games, against better competition, but are left out in favor of a 6 total win B10 team. That's 4 more contests that A&M had to play, 5 for both UF and Ala. How can anyone compare that fairly.

The problem is the playoff or NCAA not telling the B10 that they wouldn't be allowed to participate with their proposed season. The whole thing was out of whack even before they started cancelling games. Either play with the big boys, and the way the big boys are doing it, or don't. You can try again next year. There hasn't been an 8 win NC team since probably one of the war years. It's absurd to think they could hold a trophy with that resume.

It really should just be the ACC and SEC championship game as the play in to the championship game this year. Screw errybody else.

While I don’t blame the Bucknuts for what they’re faced with, I do blame the BIG. They fuchsed this up from the get go and I kinda think they should suffer the consequences. Leave them out of the play-off and tell em to try again next year when they play at least 10 games.

No I got what you were saying. Both Ohio State and A&M would be taking on a risk if they played(more so the Bucks). But neither are guaranteed to be in at this juncture either. So it would be a head to head bout that would eliminate one and potentially get the other in. In a jumbled season, it would be one of the coolest things, to me.

I personally do not see the committee setting up a potential third match up between ND and Clemson. Especially considering a Clemson win at full strength would do a lot to nullify the first loss. The winner there is in and I think the loser is out, despite popular opinion otherwise.

The b10 delayed their member seasons until they saw the success of the southern conferences. And now they will change the rules as they see best to work it out for them without regard to what others have done before them. Sounds like carpetbagging to me! Someone, somewhere just needs to follow the rules everyone else follows.

Screw OSU and the big 10. They were content to just sit this season out anyway until the SEC decided they were going to man up and play ball. Then, looking like the total panty-wastes that they are after other conferences somehow magically figure out how healthy young athletes can somehow survive a football season in the age of covid, they sheepishly decide hey we wanna play too! And their lack of commitment to playing football shows on the field with the garbage product they've been putting out there for the last month or so. I'd rather see the SEC champ face off against the ACC champ and just call it good while those losers drown in their fvking tears.

Expect the rule change before Saturday.
That will make them eligible for the big10 champ game. But how

agree 100%. If we think back the ONLY reason the big 10 is playing is because osu had a shot at the playoff. That’s the only reason the pac 12 is playing too. They canceled their seasons months ago. Now they are trying to back their way into the big time. Hmm sounds like a recent presidential election

Still not the worst example of rank cowardice from a football program in 2020.

That dubious distinction belongs to the clowns.

OSU will need to play *someone* this weekend or else it'll be hard to justify a team that played 5 games in the regular season making it over a team that played double that amount.
Somebody suggested several days ago that posu should play cincy if meatchicken goes full-clown. That would at least reduce the clamoring from the mid major community after cincy comes crashing back down to Earth. Or cincy shocks posu and we all get a good laugh... but not likely.

I think POSU and Cincy play each other in a bowl.

I think the 4 will be:

Notre Dame/Miami
Clemson
UF/A&M
Bama
