I think it's time to evaluate whether Dan Mullen is the guy or not

I have to agree. The idea that Mullen is even remotely on even a warm seat is laughable.

We’re in an administrative death spiral. You know what I’m talking about. Academia has come to mean more than our football image. We haven’t had a football AD since Arnsparger (reluctantly) hired Spurrier.

My guess is Tigert Hall couldn’t be happier with Stricklin for his snappy plaid shirts and the polished manner in front of a microphone.

Next year is going to be awful. Passing game will be back to Franks level without a running game and D will keep regressing

Trask was a random diamond in the rough who carried him this year. We have no championship caliber QB on the roster or in the pipeline so Mullen will be gone by 2023. Wish I could say sooner than that but doubt it.

With Strickland, Mullen will always get grace for at least one bad year, so 2023 is the earliest that Mullen would be gone, unless he leaves on his own.

I really don't see how we keep Mullen around and also who is the hot name out there that guarantees us championships and greatness.

Then you really don’t understand how it works when your president believes good football makes academics look bad, and wants to be Ivy League-South. Strickland’s job is to make sure that the athletic program continues to contribute academic scholarship money to UF, while at least breaking even and not doing anything to tarnish UF’s wokeness.

Being a football power isn’t even on the radar.

Thought that when CDM didn't let Pitts play, the team knew he wasn't serious.
Maybe, but even w Pitts on the field he has played stall ball for the first half of the last 4 or 5 games, with or without Pitts.

If he just called the offense like he did early in the season or like he does when he is losing by two scores to LSU hakfway through the 3rd, then he could be a champion.

But he just doesnt have it He just has to revert to Notre Dame ball.

He’s not. He’s not terrible but he’s no champ that’s for damn sure . When you add he won’t get rid of sorry greg , bum Ron or fat Todd that tells the tale . Dan doesn’t have the fortitude or the balls to make the tough decisions . In fact there is compelling evidence the man in fact has a vagina.

LOL... to go where?

I mean Im ALL for it but he has been a caoch for 11 years and he was Tennessee's 17th pick.

You think USCe will take him?

What can I say, I’m an optimist. I’ve been hoping for Grantham to leave on his own since his first day on campus.

And USCe probably would take Mullen. They like our retreads.

Two years.

Beating Ugaly was a shytt sandwich extender.
I'm thinking end of next year. 8-4 this year, maybe 6-6 or 7-5 next year. They'll probably send him packing or it'll be lame duck territory. This is only the beginning of our 3 game streak. The heat will crank up after the bowl loss.

Mullen is a good, not great and certainly not elite, coach. He'll win you a decent amount of games, lose a couple of headscratchers, and have you in a decent bowl game. But we're not winning any serious hardware with him at the helm, and watching this presser is all the explanation you need to see why it won't happen.
