i think turner (d line) and gray (secondary) are actually pretty solid coaches and decent recruiters. Granthem's scheme and personnel concepts have hurt them both significantly. Turner was relatively unknown but has been pretty solid given what he was handed when he got here, and Gray had been excellent up to the point he arrived here. I expect both of them to do well after they leave here. Granthem and his scheme is the cancer, mullen has just let it metastisize all over the place.

have you ever seen his secondaries consistently play 15 yards off the receiver, even when in a man coverage, before he got here? I think that is a big part of your answer....
