With players opting out of Bowl games, is it time for an expanded playoff?

Since you want to play games with your address I'll do you one better...

YouVersion...

It's an APP
Every Bible Version you could want right on your phone...it's easy and FREE
And there are all kinds of ethics for "Dummies"

I'll get you started:
Ephesians 5:1-33 ESV
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. ...
Glad to know there are other Believers on here! I go to a really Bible based church not legalism type stuff... I'm talking full Grace alone teachings for all the sin I've committed. The teaching has changed my life.

By your way, Alabama is playing Clemson for the NC.

tOSU clearly proved on the field that they are the better team, and more deserving than Clemson to face Bama. It is not debatable -- doing it the old way would have gotten it wrong this year.

And from another thread:

This is not for your benefit, because you clearly don't have the capacity to understand it. It's for the benefit and entertainment of others reading.

Which of these was a more impressive and glorious athletic achievement, that should give greater pride to the fanbases:

(a) Florida's back-to-back NC's in basketball in 2006-07, which we won by playing 12 postseason games and defeating, and in some cases upsetting, elite teams like Duke, North Carolina, Georgetown, Villanova, UCLA, Oregon, tOSU and others, in games that were mostly thrilling and closely contested;

OR:

(b) Alabama's back-to-back NC's in football in 2011-12, which they won by playing two postseason games with blowout scores of 21-0 and 42-14?

No objective person would deny that the answer is (a).

@NOLAGATOR and I like the idea of more parity among teams, and more opportunities to win championships by proving our mettle on the field of play, as opposed to letting the title matchups be determined by "the committee and computers," who would've had Alabama facing Clemson this year.

So because we want more competition, more games, more football and consequently MORE GLORY, we are told we are "pussies" who are talking "loser talk" about "participation trophies."

On what fuchsing planet does that make any sense? :scratchhead: Not this one, that's for sure.

@ThreatMatrix is AFRAID for the Gators to be tested on the field, because he FEARS we might lose. He FEARS competition. He literally said so! He would prefer that we win NC's not by proving ourselves to be the better competitors, but rather by being the beneficiaries of, "competitive imbalance." His words!

Where is the glory and honor in that? He is clearly one of these recruitnik dorks who thinks NC's should be awarded in February based on who did the best job of sweet-talking teenage boys.

@ThreatMatrix, all message board bluster and smack talk aside, you and all those who think like you are FEARFUL COWARDS.

AMEN!!!

There goes another one! Swervy Swonks is on a roll. Gave @no1g8r a  for posting it and @NOLAGATOR a :bandit: for agreeing.

Reminds me of a story. Once during Army AIT, I went out with three of the brothers to a club in Anniston, Alabama. Being white at the time, I was segregated in the front seat with the cab driver. One of the guys in back made a ballbusting joke at the expense of one of the others, a more militant type who wasn't happy that I was going along. I'm pretty sure his last name was Palmer.

So everybody laughed at the joke, but Palmer took particular exception to me joining in the laughter, and proceeded to reach across the back seat and give me a jab in the face. I mean a good one. I got a shiner from it.

So, I made the cab driver pull over, and I will give those other two brothers credit for not jumping in when Palmer ended up getting one of his teeth literally handed to him, wrapped up in a brown Wendy's napkin provided by the driver. And it was a molar, too! That was a first.

Needless to say we then got back in the cab and had a great time at the club, black eye and swollen jaw and all. That's the Army for you! God bless America.

You know it’s time to send a thread to the dungeon when the Bible thumpers start preaching.

DUDE...you just made it worse.

Jesus loves you. He can bring you a peace you seem to be missing.

And if it's good enough for Danny W and Timmy why would it upset you?

Love ya brother...prayers

Feel the love Donk.

Maybe if you would believe, UF may turn things around?
