Your hypercritical analysis of Tebow reminds me a lot of 99.9% of the fake news stories about Trump and any other conservative where they fill in the massive gaps of their ignorance of the facts with fabricated stories intended to cast shade on their actual, stated intent and motivation.

At least admit the fact that you do not have the slightest clue about about the facts such as Tim's underlying intentions, motivations, considerations or conversations that led to any of his decisions. Tim is a man and as such, he makes mistakes just like the rest of us and at the very least deserves to be given the benefit of the doubt regarding his true motivations.

When Jesus said (Matthew 7:1-3) “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you." He is referring to judging one's motives without knowing the thoughts and intents of their heart. Assuming an evil or selfish motive without first hand knowledge is morally wrong.

That verse has to be the most quoted verse in the Bible by believers and unbelievers alike that have absolutely no clue about the exegeses of the original language, context, or meaning.

And most better be grateful "They don't get what they deserve".

I worship no man (except one and he walked on water)...and that goes for Tebow but he has far less to criticize than most.

Look, we can talk about all the noble reasons why they left, but I am assuming it’s because his parents felt they’d paid their dues with the time spent there and grew tired of living in an overcrowded, garbage area with dirty people and weird accents. The fact that St Johns County was so close made the move a no brainer.

I don’t really know much about Manila.

Yet he goes back every year...and supplies badly needed medical care...there and in the USA.

Your assumptions have zilch for evidence and then you fill in the blanks with negative horse crap. No excuse. How much do you know about missionaries serving in 3rd world countries or the agencies that send them? You appear to be quite pleased with relying on your assumptions (ignorance) in order to cast negative aspersions on the actions and the character of those which you may think less of.

Clearly you've never seen most of Jacksonville, particularly near the stadium. It's like mixture of Kosovo and Port-au-Prince. I may be speculating, but I'd bet the farm I'm correct.

No place in America is even close to Haiti or the Philippines.

Brother, you need to take a mission trip or two...it will change your life.

Our poor have Cable TV, cell phones, AC...our poor are middle class in most 3rd world countries.

I have been in Jacksonville and the stadium area many many many times but that is irrelevant to the subject of making negative assumptions about people's actions, decisions, and motives without a shred of factual evidence. Assuming facts not in evidence does not reflect well on your objectivity or fairness.
