Khan has already contacted Mullen. Expected to be announced after Mullen returns from Aruba sometime in January.

The way it is does not necessarily equal the way it should be.

My father would likely be in jail if he were raising children today, based on the way he raised us.

I thank the Good Lord frequently for my upbringing.

AMEN

Did he hire his staff or inherit them?

Good Question. If he hired them all, that's on him.

Starting to wonder if he wanted out and maybe a supposed implosion. Not saying that anything like that would have happened, you know chest pains, intentional behavior. Just sayin'

No, but he applied a leather belt to my ass when he felt he needed to.

And I am grateful that I learned there are consequences for poor choices and bad behavior.

Marine Corps Dress Belt...We lived in Florida and when that bad boy landed IT HAD SNOW ON IT.

I thought he had issues at UF...I love the NCs but...

I wonder if ND vetted him...I thought he'd have jumped at that after Kelly left?

Meyer has applied to the Nick Saban Rehab Center where broken coaches go to regain credibility. He will start out as an assistant special teams analyst.

I will allow any coach currently in the NFL to kick me in exchange for the NFL minimum for a 3 year contract.
I would too. But that's not about toughness, it's about options.

If you were one of the most accurate kickers in the NFL that pretty much any team would be happy to pay millions to, you wouldn't put up with some douchebag treating you like a child.

The only reason I care about this at all is if it opens up an opportunity for an assistant to land in Gainesville who would be considered a positive boost to the staff. Otherwise, thanks for the trophies while you were here, urbs.

Sounds like he needs to do some soul searching self-evaluation and straighten himself out, probably should talk to Timmy for inspiration and encouragement. And he should probably retire from coaching permanently to stop the bleeding.

Smart move. Now, maybe the owner can actually hire a good coach fir once.
I'm starting to believe Shahid Khan is just another sh1tty owner like Jerry Jones and Daniel Snyder. May not matter who Shahid hires.
Khan should just stick to Soccer and pro wrestling(AEW).
