You get a temporary hall pass.Perhaps you guys are done for a while ripping me a new one for pimping him from the start.
The hero we need, not the hero we want.

That was dumbass Dooley I think
Second time nape shot him down
He's like 26-1 vs his assistants. He keeps some of his secrets close to his vest. Some of us knew Napier was loved by ULL.
One thing that separates him from many of the others is CHARCTER. Mullen didn't have it...Even Urban seems to have lost any he had.
I am wondering if Saban is thinking, "Oh crap, not another one of mine in the SEC. When will I ever learn?"

He is a great turn around from our last HC. You actually want to watch him and hear what he has to say unlike DMulligan. I wanted to ask about his comment about coaching the bowl game? I know he is not but he seemed to be more involved than I thought he would be with the old staff and coaching the bowl. How do you think he is involved and how much will he have say in what goes on with ingame play?
That's kinda what I thought. I like what he has to say and his approach to the whole thing! He seems to be ready to get us headed back to where we all want to be and that is great to finally see.Probably not a whole lot. I think he is "Evaluating", getting to know players and let them know his expectations.
I guess this is as good a place as any to give my two OxCents on @Swamp Donkey.I figured the Donk would bring us down from our irrational exuberance.
What is BDE.I assume he not going to say anything and just whip his dick out and let everyone bask in the aura of his BDE for 10 minutes.

I "liked" Ox's posts that said Donk was banned, but because I liked the decision, not because I don't like Donk. He has annoyed me at times, but for better or worse he is the most engaging poster on the site. To paraphrase Will Ferrell in Blades of Glory, he's provocative! He gets the people going!
If I ever went to visit Donkers at his lean-to in the remote Bucknutz woods, to shoot the sh*t over a bottle of his homemade 'shine, I'm sure we'd have a good old time. I genuinely like the guy. For his own good he needs a break from this site, though.
As everyone knows, Donk's main shtick is relentless dumping on the head coach, whoever that may be. His recent over-the-top outbursts that got him banned were about his frustration over Ox supposedly requiring everyone to be positive about Billy Napier. But that's not really the case.
I've joked as much as anyone about Ox's Re-Education Camp. In fact, let the record reflect that I invented the joke. But Ox isn't really requiring everyone to be positive about the hire anymore.
At this point all Ox is doing is mocking anyone who is trying to sh*t on Napier, because Napier has not given anyone a legit reason to do so yet. So far he is saying and doing all the right things, and no one can deny he has displayed the right temperament for the job.
This site is not an echo chamber of support for Napier because Ox requires it, which was Donk's complaint. The positivity is organic. We all feel that way. Again, there's no reason not to feel that way. We are enjoying the opportunity to be upbeat and hopeful about the Gator HC for the first time in a long time.
Donkers is not a rah-rah guy, though. He is a committed iconoclast. So I think that for his benefit, and so as not to kill the buzz around here, it is good for Ox to give him a little mental health break for the remainder of the off-season.
For whatever it's worth my vote is to let @Swamp Donkey post again (IF he chooses to do so) after the start of the season.
Once we see a product on the field, Donk and others who are not sold on Napier might have something to complain about. Arguably, at least. Until then, the truth is, they really don't. Let the rest of us enjoy this honeymoon period in peace.
Thank you sir but on Donk's behalf it is my duty to rip you for long-catting that post! ;)AMEN...And I agree with allowing him back...After next season begins
You pretty much nailed it. But Donkey's future on the board is in doubt because of his own decisions and conduct, and only OX has a right to make that call. I'm good either way.I guess this is as good a place as any to give my two OxCents on @Swamp Donkey.
