But how do the sizes of these players stack up to the sizes they will face.? Are we keeping up.?

Why isn't WR on this list?

TE is a higher priority because Napier likes to run a lot if 2 TE sets, and we only have 1 healthy TE right now. But overall, these three positions were underrecruited by Mullen. We have enough numbers at WR to survive next year, and I guess they are practicing well enough for Napier to believe they aren't an immediate concern.

Im not sure but I kinda think we don't have immediate needs this year for WR? I think WR is something that should be addressed in the 2023 recruiting class maybe (which seems like we are struggling though but I guess we gonna see).

scUM seems to think they are the leaders for this guy, but their boards always think they are the leaders for everyone. I think Spencer heavily recruited him out of high school and has a good rapport with him. He is definitely a good get and we have a lot of room for him.

I'm envisioning a lot of Muschamp mindset here. Run the ball, control the clock and play defense. Who need WRs because we don't plan to throw the ball.

i don’t think we need WR depth necessarily but I think we need a game breaker at that spot. So it would need to be a big play guy, not a possession or even an average route runner guy.

Napier does like to run the ball, but he also isn't afraid to take shots downfield. I remember reading an article recently where I think Sale said that their offensive plan was strictly tailored to their opponet's weaknesses. Basically, he said it doesn't matter to them how much they run or throw the ball. They'll call whatever they think will work best to move the ball and score, whether that means running every play or passing every play.

Absolutely, hopefully he is just that and a coach that does whatever he can to exploit a weakness. If we win 31-0 and rush for 500 yards or 31-0 and pass for 500. Makes no difference to me.

One special request to CBN.....when you have an opponent on the ropes, don't let up and go for the throat.

Roster mgmt is going to be interesting. We have 90 scholarship players. Nap said he's giving 5 walkons scollies. That's 95. Then he said they are really gonna hit the transfer portal. Another 5? for a total of 100. That means there are 15 players that will have to be processed out.

I was thinking the same thing while watching that presser. It's either he's wanting to process some, or he already knows about some that will transfer. Maybe a mix of both.
