You could also put a 16 penny nail point down in one and shake it in a circular motion with an occasional upward/downward motion and cut the bottom out pretty cleanly.

Just DO NOT twist the bottle on tight and throw it into a fire and stand there waiting to see what will happen. Trust me but don't ask how I know that...
