He's reported to be in police custody. That doesn't sound good.

There was a hit and run fatality on Main Street Sunday night. From debris/parts at the scene, they determined/released this morning that the vehicle they are looking for is a 2016-2022 Silver Volvo XC90 (SUV) with significant front passenger-side damage... hope Jalen didn't have one of those. On3 seems to have the only difference in basic info by saying "serious charges."

The hit and run were posted on one of the official UF Parents FB pages Monday and again with the update about the Volvo this morning. As soon as Ferg mentioned it in the box and that it was "career ending" and not just "off the team, maybe someone else will take him," I got a horrible feeling they were linked. Which obviously means absolutely nothing, it was just an immediate, sinking feeling.
