Would the team's best CF have had that ball? Hard to say b/c he was sitting on the bench. Though I too would have not pulled Fisher, I guess Neely double digit saves stand for something. Although watching him all season I do not think many think he is a great closer as he does not have that one out pitch and goes too deep into counts too often. But give that kid credit. He hit a hanger.

If Robertson was in CF, TCU wouldn't have scored the tying run and we wouldn't have needed the go ahead run in the top of the 9th. But we won in spite of Sully's stupid defensive lineup and bunting failures

I gotta watch the last out again. I'm shocked he caught the thing. I wonder if he was shocked. Kinda looked like it. I had my eyes closed and looked up at the last minute. I need to see that catch again.

I still can't figure out why I care about Florida sports. I don't know any of these guys.

I just have to ask (see my post regarding gasoline on anthills), how many successful bunts have you seen in all of college baseball this year? When I played LL, PL and HS ball, we practiced laying down a bunt almost as much as swinging at the pitch. Now I personally never got on base by bunting because I ran a 10.0 50 but I have advanced runners. I may have seen one bunt that worked this year.

An 0-2 Hanger that was totally smoked. thank goodness the ball was hit to the deepest part of the ballpark and thank goodness they put in a Centerfielder to play CF

Not sure about that. Most of us keyboard coaches said this team was a contender on paper early on in the year. We just continue to question certain in game moves that do not tend to work out at the time. the result of the game might but the thought behind the change does not always work out.
