Hmm. Apparently Justin Fuente was on a radio show today and said on air that this isn't a done deal. When Fuente got hired, Grays salary got cut. VT may be negotiating with him for a raise to stay. I think he was making $275k.

Seeing as how Torrian tweeted about it ( if, in fact he did) he almost couldn't back out of the UF deal. A lot of coaching personnel decisions are based on trust, And backing out would be a huge trust issue going into the future.

I think Dixon did a very good job last year. The WR play was much improved and he helped bring in the best WR class that we've had since 10 years ago. It was reported in several places that Dixon was a key recruiter for Cleveland.

I agree wholeheartedly about Nord. Hopefully today we'll find out he's been let go and they're searching for a replacement.

I know nobody was excited about the Dixon hire but it doesn't appear to have been a bad hire. Dare I say it was a good hire?

I'll say this: (A) Our receivers were running good routes and getting open this season. They looked significantly better than they did during any of the muschamp years. (B) We just signed the best WR class that we've had in the last 10 years. In regards to Dixon, I say so far, so good.

I can agree with Dixon and Skipper. Dixon needs to be on a short leash though until some real production occurs on the field and on the recruiting trail. Skipper has given us some opportunities in Louisiana, but I think he's in the same boat as Dixon....put up or shut up this year. I never heard anything about Nord recruiting, and he didn't do anything special coaching wise, so he'd be the first candidate to go. The other one I'd put on a short leash is Collins, and whoever decided that we weren't getting a DT this cycle or a 4th and 5th OLinemen.

Yeah I can. His resume says rb coach at geographical school or worse. That alone puts us at a drastic disadvantage. You really want these kind of guys out there recruiting against the top tier coaches at Bammer, LSU , Ugly and others? I know we didnt, we just failed at getting our first several picks.

I dont expect you to like anyone and I dont expect you to give someone a chance either. While I do somewhat agree with some of what you said, I never expect you to have a positive response.
