@ThomasGoldkamp: Shannon is owed $2.025 million by the #Gators, but that figure will be offset by his UCF salary if he takes that job.
Ok then.
@UCF_Football: One of the nation’s best defensive minds and recruiters is a Knight!
Welcome to Orlando, Coach Shannon!

His mind and recruiting aren't what they used to be. We saw that first hand.
That sounds too aggressive. We didn't want to hurt anyone this year. Maybe he'll go to a cover 4 pillow zone D at UCFMost bland defenses I ever saw. Did we blitz a corner all year?
I already acknowledged that he is getting buyout money...as I already said, at some point in the near future, the buyout $ in addition to the lower salary from UCF becomes less than what he would get at a bigger, better job. Hence my comment that he likely would be a short termer if for no other reason than economics. He’s also not building UCF up. He’s following a guy who went 12-0 and left for a bigger job. UCF also had quite a bit of success not too long ago before the winless season a few years back. Lastly, the SOS example isn’t comparable...UT is one of SOS’s all mater’s biggest rivals. Sumlin’s a Purdue grad, no rivalry between those 2 schools.

No not if they have a fast scoring O. That D will just be tired and hold opponents under 40!for the WAgainst the mediocre teams UCF faces, Shannon will mount an awesome defense.
Josh The Heupel? Man, they're going to sign all the young dudes.
You gotta get a "like",Rog, for the M.C. Escher reference alone.Surely you Mott-mock ... and M.C.Escher will draw up the plays.

I am impressed with their AD White.
