Well. They all wanted to be here. But he wanted to be HERE. They would have taken Bammer, or Barn, or Ugly, or Tinerc, or Penn State or Miami, so would Mullinz had it been offered, but Mullins WANTED to be HERE. And he has a sense of urgency that the past to chuckleheads didnt. They thought it would happen so long as they worked some and relied on us "being Florida" especially in recruiting.

This has been the biggest difference maker for me. As you know, I was not a fan of hiring Mullen, because of his football philosophy, and what I had always perceived was a lacking of charisma and recruiting abilities. I have changed my tune on the charisma and recruiting aspect of his coaching abilities. He has more than won me over for exactly what you posted here. Mullen truly gets it. From the second he stepped off the plane he has been the Gators #1 cheerleader, and a proud representative of UF. And I don't know if anyone in America has out-recruited him since he's been here. We may not get all of our targets this year, but I am very optimistic that in the future we will. The guy is working his butt off, and I'm truly excited this offseason for the first time in many, many years.

I don't know what we'll look like on the field, but I am beginning to believe that Mullen is going to prove me wrong there, as well.

I can't wait!

Spivey saying UF did their level best to impress Gerald and Lovett over the weekend. Both sounded duly impressed not only by the team but the academic support facilities as well.

I think we get Gerald. Lovett is a big DL at 323. Only competition for him seems to be both Mississippi schools.

For the Twitter savvy, what does “COKE BOY” mean? Is it a nod to Sexy Rexy or something?

Did I miss some new innovation in helmet design? What's with the chin strap over the mouth?

He doesn't look 323. Is his weight correct?

In Saban's 3-4, you really need 3 300 pounders. The difference between the one "DT" and the one "DE" are really nonexistent.

We damn sure arent going to see 240 pounders nose up on a 320 pounder offensive tackle or 250 pounders being called DTs soon. The days of playing a WAC sized defensive line are gone.

I knew that. I assume that, as we transition, we will still play a little 4-3. If he moves well enough to play SDE, the edge might not be turned so easily.

I dont see any 4-3 transition. Grantham is pretty much a strict 3-4 guy, more than the others.

I find it weird that all the lil Sabans call the three linemen DT, NT, and DE but whatever.

So how many more 300 pounders do we need before the cupboard is fully stocked? And where do we find em?
