The excuses are falling on deaf ears. This is his 3rd spring practice. Four turnovers and 7/22 passing? Yeah, uhh no. That isn't going to cut it.
Yep. When does a qb start to get it? It doesnt take this long to become a better decision maker. He doesnt have it up top

Stock up/stock down report

If you take away Franks’ 28-yard touchdown pass to Moral Stephens and his 51-yard touchdown pass to Trevon Grimes, he would’ve only completed 4 of his 20 passes for 54 yards. Franks flashed similar tendencies to last season, which many hoped he would improve. He still leaves the pocket way too early and tries to force the long ball. Along with his below average decision-making, Franks continues to lock in on his first target, electing to try and jam the ball into double-coverage instead of progressing through his options. Franks looks terrific in passing drills, but the minute pressure is introduced, he seems to lose his cookies. If Franks can’t improve upon his downfalls, he more than likely won’t be the starter come September 1.

His comments about the scrimmage were telling. He said it was bad football. The offenses best moments were because of busted coverage by the defense. He said the same thing about the defense. They did well because of poor offense. They didn't actually play good defense. He said the entire scrimmage was like that.

He crucified Lemons. LOL. He said if Lemons played 45 plays in a game and got 18 carries, he's great in the 18 carries and stinks the rest of the time (blocking, routes). That is why he is 3rd string. Savage!!! He said it much nicer, but it was savage.

Trask did audible a few times successfully.

Mullen seemed to imply the offense's struggles in the first part of the scrimmage was due to lack of confidence. It is as if they expect to fail. Mullen can thank MacNuss for that.

Scarlett, Lemons, Pierce with a dash of Clement. Those guys should get all the carries, nobody else.

I’m good with redshirting Davis if he isn’t 100% tbh. If he is healthy, I have no clue how they’ll divvy up the carries. Good problem to have.

That's what Goldkamp said about Lemons; "he's fine running the ball but bad at the 'other' things a RB needs to do".

At least Mullen admits the offense stinks. Butters would-of 'awe shucks' the sh*t out of the media after that scrimmage!!

Mullens' pessimism is my only source of optimism.

Driskel 2.0 except Franks will run out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage instead of throwing picks as much as Driskel would.

Davis is probably the best runner by far.
