JR Smith is such an idiot. 4.7 and he could have simply put it back in.

He is one of the worst starters in the entire league. Cleveland may very well be letting a golden opportunity slip through their fingers. This Golden State team is the worst that they've had in the last 4 had in the last four seasons.

Reversing the charge call was complete BS. I turned it off after that call because I knew what was coming. I'm done with these finals.

3 very, very bad calls down the stretch. The Lebron strip, the strip on Lebron and the block call. If there is some conspiracy involving refs helping Lebron then I suspect there will be some bodies recovered floating in the bay tomorrow morning because the mob just lost millions of dollars betting on the Cavs.

Lebron was once again insane. I really can’t believe he is actually better now than ever before.

Bottom line it was a great, entertaining game. Just a fun game to watch. All of us thought this was going to be a boring series with 4 blowouts. Cleveland is not a championship team but they played their hearts out other than JR’s brain freeze.

I also don’t understand the flagrant and ejection on Thompson on that final shot by Livingston. Horrible call.

Oh yeah...I was rooting for the Warriors but come on man.

This won't be the first or last time a Finals game has some controversial calls.

I think the Cavs started the game with a little bit of DET "Bad Boys" philosophy going on. If you watched closely, and one of the commentators referenced it, there was some very physical "old school" basketball going on in the first half. It very well could be that the Cavs are trying to even the playing field by getting some of the GSW players ejected - Tristen's shoving the ball in Green's face at the end is the most obvious example of this.

JR Smith has never seemed to me to have the highest basketball IQ, and tonight it showed.

I anticipate the NBA will be issuing some statements today that might impact the next game, and possibly explain a few of these calls.

And if Tristan Thompson gets suspended for Game 2, gonna be slim pickens....

I'm not one to normally blame the refs, but they were AWEFUL. Reversing the charge was BS, the phantom calls against LeBron and the Warriors no-calls in the last 3 minutes were hot garbage. The JR Smith play should have never happened.

I picked a helluva night to not stay up. LeBron drops 51 and they still lose.

After watching a litany of breakdown video and super slowmos of several of these plays I will add......

Even though it shouldn't be reviewable but to only determine if he was inside the circle or not, Lebron's feet were not set (if that still is the rule) when he stepped in front of KD. It was a ridiculously bang-bang play, but the replay show that his feet were not and did not remain set for that to be a charge.

This game gives coaches of high school players so much fodder - if KD would have given even a 50% effort to block out JR Smith on the Hill FT miss, GSW might have had a chance to actually win the game in regulation.

His feet were set. Even Steve Javie said his feet were set.
