And yet, he has the second longest pass play in Gator history. Behind a wide receiver. Football is a funny sport.
Collinsworth was recruited as a quarterback and quickly made into a receiver.

To fawn over Hurts would dishevel the QBs' development that Mullen/Johnson has going with JJ, EJ, & Franks.
Gators need Gator QB leadership. Don't jump around.

Yeah ... I am looking forward to seeing the progress that FF and EJ make in the offseason. I am also looking to see how JJ handles the transition.

After seeing Jones later in the year I hope we don't offer him. Better than Franks but Jones has more upside than Hurts

I'm gonna call UCF, easy schedule, they need a QB, he would look like a star there.

And they only need a QB for 1 year, until their QB recovers (hopefully) from his gnarly injury and comes back after a redshirt year.

May not really happen, but it makes sense

I think it is highly unlikely, but it seems like a win-win, moreso than with most any other school. Hurts would be guaranteed to start at UCF, and without impacting the progress of their other star.
