Face it: you can’t imagine anything positive hapenning under Grantham, even while it’s happening.

Nailed it. The role of a dumper is the simple, easy life. Crap all over everything and say "I was right!" when your team doesn't win the national championship every year and then be 'pleasantly surprised" when the good things happen.

He's a Hokie and furthermore you're trying to throw a wet blanket over the UAA opening up the checkbook for a wanted assistant. You've been an esp vocal critic of our spending on assistants. Well, we're spending where it matters.

Top Gator rules of engagement are written for your safety and for that of your team. They are not flexible, nor am I. Either obey them or you are history. Is that clear?

Glad he is staying this year and glad he is being sought out for other jobs. I would rather him stay a bit longer to keep things consistent for the next few years (at a minimum year 2) for many reasons. It'd be nice to be in a position when he does leave that we can promote from within (Gray).

I suppose this means I have to get rid of my REM collection, too.

If we are winning games and not looking like a beyotch even in a loss, then I really don’t give damn who is on the sideline.

And yet .. he interviewed.

I think Grantham's scheme is too risky. Yes, its exciting, until a blitz costs us a game or two.
We lost games last year because we were manhandled (light in the pants). That can be corrected during the offseason.

A risky scheme can't.

Yes ... I'm a dumper? If so. am I a rookie , journeyman, master or Grand Poobah dumper?

And, for the record, this is the first time in 4 decades as a fan, that Ive criticized the D scheme. (I'm not talking about individual games).

Nonsense. If you can correct not getting manhandled in the offseason, I profess that you correct your scheme issues as well. Duh.

We have lowballed every coach ever and this stinking ass dwag is the one they decide to pay?
We've had some pretty damn good, proven Gator DCs over the past 10 years. I wouldn't rank Grantham (just from what I've seen last year) in the top 3.

I'm quite happy Grantham stayed. He's a very good DC and our program NEEDS continuity badly. He happened to work at UGA for a while. So what. He is not a Dawg as far as alumni which is all that matters to me. I'm not going to pass on coaches that have just happened to work for one of our rivals in the past. That's ridiculous.

I'm sure you were quite the Randy Shannon fan....
