The tackling will improve as we move into the season. At least with proven commodities out there like Reese and Miller . It was very poor . Davis gives a glimmer of hope at safety . JT was just dreadful out there .

From the numerous fumbles we didn’t recover to boneheaded fourth down penalties we obviously have a lot to work on with the mental side of the game as well .

I was glad to see Dan get after the ref on that dreadful late hit on Dean . For
Me Zuniga and Greenard are the players of the game . Josh was really our only consistent playmaker . Toney didn’t get involved much after backtracking for a big loss .

Perine got too many opportunities. They need to spread the ball around better. Perine gets 16 touches and doesn't produce enough. I don't dislike Perine. But if he doesn't have a hot hand then you gotta go elsewhere. Plus 16 touches is too many when Grimes is getting one and a bunch of other guys get one or none.

Lol...love showing up here after a win. We couldn’t get to the game so we did the next best thing....threw a party. The yard, patio and house was packed. 4 TV’s blaring, music blasting, and beer on ice. Damn it’s fun.

Perfect? Hell no. Couldn’t run. Couldn’t tackle. But Franks gets 254 yards and 3 TD’s and the D gets an incredible 10 sacks. Their QB started 12-14. Ended 7-16 the rest of the way. We got the W.

Loved it. Gotta get back to the party.

Holy crap how many different ways did we try to give that game away?!?

On to the next one, i think we can be a good team if we get better each week.

38 pass interference penalties on the last drive
Too many missed tackles to count

But we won.

I’m very frustrated, but we won over a rival despite all of that.

Special teams: Fake punt, key muffed punt recovery. scUM missed a FG. That was the difference.

Lots to work on.

If the RB is going to get 5 or 6 catches out of the backfield on the outlet then maybe you gotta start lining up Toney at RB. Especially on passing opportunities. He needs more touches. It should be more equal to what Perine is getting. He got one reception and took it 66 yards for a TD and then nothing else.
