My jaw was on the floor the entire time he was at QB. I've seen what Perry can do and Martell just doesn't look good yet they made the QB competition seem so close. Williams should have been the QB choice from the start.

Maybe Franks has not had a lobotomy and is still then same human being. Anyone catch his pregame cry about wanting to be liked? I’ve never booed him or any Gator in the stadium, but his still brooding about booing a year later is representative of who he is. As is kicking the ball at the end instead of running to hug every defensive player.

BS. You’ll never hear that or see that from a Bama title winning team. They know the importance of having their DBs wrap up and tackle even one-on-one in the open field. Our staff needs to get that corrected ASAP!

No, I’ve played plenty of ball. Funny, I was going to say you must not watch much nor know much about football. Championship teams don’t have pzzy azz DBs that shoulder bump opposing RBs or WRs and let them break free for TDs. The great teams have 11 guys that know what their job is and do it. Wrap up & tackle. C.J.’s late whiff was especially glaring as it wasn’t even a difficult open field tackle. It was in traffic and the Miami player had already been slowed down by our lineman. No excuse for it. If you think I’m wrong on this point, go back and watch again and listen to the announcer (Herbstreit I think) pretty much say the same thing; that it’s a matter of wanting it. If your D-line can’t rely on the DBs to cover for them if they make a mistake, you’re not going to have a championship level defense, that’s just the reality of it. You should put down the bottle if you want to have a cogent discussion.

Agree normally but the armless attempt at a tackle on the RB on that long run was atrocious. Wilson was excusable - he had his arms around the RBs legs but he just ran out of it. Henderson just dove at him.
