I think he just got sick of hearing people call him a POS for the last 3 months.

The guy waited almost 4 months to apologize & he spent those last 4 months denying what he did was intentional. Oh, and just before his “apology”, he bragged about how he plays the game “right”. Yeah, I call B.S. on this.

Credit for manning up and apologizing.
BS for waiting so long to do it.
Whatever his reason for doing it now won't help him in any way NFL, etc. Other than maybe clearing his conscience, not sure if an admission would have caused him playing time.

Well it only took..............*checks watch*...............3 1/2 months. But good for him manning up, better late than never.

Few of us held that in our memoies. His TV apology put his name back in the the spotlights, albeit in as a heroic-villian light.
Remembering that ankle twist play, when Kyle got up, he gave that villian a piece of his mind. I'd really like to know what Trask said.?

Pure PR move to cover his mediocre ass to get more $$$ from a better draft position when he becomes a bust.

F him.

Like I said on the Twitter machine, this isn't a showing of character. Character would be admitted his mistake when he could be punished. It's like a criminal admitting a crime once acquitted and jeopardy attached.

I believe he is just getting attention. A decent player would never even think of doing this, and if they did would make it right immediately. No real forgiveness from me.

Okay so he apologized, now I regard him slightly better than a stinking, steaming bucket of puke, or Darnell Dockett. But he's still far below that of the hundreds of other defensive players who faced off against the Gators who never tried to injure our boys.
Kudos should be subdued.

Agree this is not a showing of character. However,
1. It would never occur to a person of character to intentionally injure a player, and therefore there would be nothing to admit to.
2. It was not a mistake.

This is more like someone admitting to a crime they were widely suspecting of committing after the statute of limitations was up.

So what you are saying is:

Dockett (no apology) < Daniel (seriously delayed apology) < Normal Human Beings who do not purposely try to injure people in the first place

That's definitely a formula I can support. :)
