This just expands on the topic of poor recruiting. Most of the those guys WERE playing out of position because they were better than anything else we had for the position to begin with. Sadly this still hasn't been fully addressed....3 classes later.

But hey there is some improvement from the Chump days when we watched a future starting NFL DB struggle at WR for a few years.....at least were keeping them on the right side of the los...:lol2:

Someone needs to get punished for the transgression of hiring a fvkking dwag (again).
If it makes you feel any better I often I hit my head against the living room wall every time our LBer's forget to drop into pass coverage on 3rd and 6 or our "exotic look" 3 man defensive front lines up with no over the center, guard or tackle on one side of the line.....

Does a college coach answer NFL coaches questions truthfully about skill, work ethic, temperament, etc? If a college coach doesn't answer those question truthfully and objectively, the pro coach will distrust the coach and program. That's not good for anybody. I am sure SOS and UM weren't sunshine pumpers. If CGJ heard that UF coaches had negative comments he should call the offending coach or look in the mirror and ask himself if there is any truth in the coach's comments.

On the flip side, the NFL coaches shouldn’t be “outing” the coach and telling the player the negatives that were said in such a way as to cause ill will towards the staff, IMO.

Hey Mr. Where Can I Get a Degree?, I think DeVry U. is probably your best bet.

Also, "elsewhere" is one word.

University of Phoenix has a huge nice football stadium.

I know I don't hear them all the time ... all the time, I don't hear them.

Kids adults in their 20's don't want to hear constructive criticism and make themselves better from it. They want to blame everyone else for their problems, I deal with it from my 9-year-old on the daily.
You could say the same thing about Mullen when it comes to his assistant coaches hiring and retainment..

Any “Outspoken” recruit brought in by Mac seems to be completely negative...Neat huh?
That's purty cool.

The only good thing that sharing potentially draft-deflating knowledge of your players does is sell yourself to potential employers in the NFL.

It is a gross selling out of the college program that currently employs you, especially since where these guys get drafted has an impact on how recruits look at your school.

Really adds another data point about who you hire as a head/assistant coach and whether they are loyal to the school or not.

Seriously, what percentage of assistant coaches are loyal to a school? These guys move around all over, from job to job, positioning themselves to move up. Frankly, I wouldn't expect ANY assistant coach to have any loyalty to a school. It's hard enough to get the damn HEAD coach to have loyalty to a school.

The only two I've seen that were "loyal" to a school was Bud Foster at Va Tech and Odell Haggins at FSU. The rest are simply mercenaries who go to the highest bidder (or best job security). There are a lot of assistants who are loyal to a coach, but rarely a school.

In the past you could have included Dwayne Dixon.

He’s interviewed for quite a few jobs and doesn’t seem to want to leave
