Let’s see. Making a broad general statement about a group of people, based largely on what they look like and/or their walk of life, professing to know their thoughts and being suspicious of their intentions with no actual facts to support the positions, all with little regard of disparaging their character, as they are, after all, beneath you.
Yep, sounds like the definition of racism.
But I also find it funny that he feels he’s uncovered some hidden gem with his “about money” comment. Yes, unfortunately, it takes money to operate in life. If you want to live in fantasy land, then that’s your right. But it won’t change reality. How some of these people don’t get the damage they’re about to do to student athletes, communities and local businesses is beyond me. And they’ll be the same morons whining when half the athletic programs get shuttered because of a lack of funding.
And lastly, I’m so over hearing about the exploitation of black athletes and how that’s made the SEC and CFB in general so great. Understand, cfb is 100+ years old and has always been huge. As someone pointed out recently, if kids suddenly stopped having to go to college and there were only true student athletes who did appreciate what they’re getting out of the deal, it may be a slower game, but it would be the same across the board and the sport would be just as popular. And the result would largely be disastrous for those young black men who aren’t quite NFL material and now have no degree, possibly not even a HS diploma. I would love to see that experiment tried just to pee all over the cornflakes of idiots like this guy.
