Zero issue with this. Bowl games are, and have always been, meaningless. Players have been “sitting them out” for years, just not formally. Pitts has been fantastic on and off the field for UF and I wish him the absolute best.

Agree bowl games outside of the Final 4 teams, are meaningless. Since I have no issue with Pitts not playing, would it be wrong of me to hope that guys like Wilson and Stiner also opt out? Just asking.

No. I’d love to see all fresh faces in the secondary for a game like this. Won’t count against them and certainly couldn’t hurt. Keep Elam healthy as well. Unfortunately, if it’s Unc, Howell will light us up in the secondary. As much as I’m never in favor of giving the canes a platform, I’m not sure I wouldn’t prefer that matchup.

Well there is an old saying that the old shyt you know is better than the shyt you don;t know. Bbut in this case I would not mind seeing a bunch of no names in the secondary getting toasted b/c the shyt I know is a guarantee to make Elvis Patterson look like a Hall of Famer.

Just saw this on twitter. It's no shock. He doesn't need to prove anything else. He's a special talent and he'll make big $$$$. If we play a team in the bowl game with a good offense like UNC it'll most likely be a loss and it ain't worth risking your draft stock for a loss. Good luck young man.
