Anybody want to take a shot at what this is going to look like given the free year of eligibility? I read somewhere this is a deep OT draft class. Does that mean Stone comes back? Heggie must be like 35 now. Please tell me there is a scooter with Delance’s name on it. In the immortal words of our very own Ox: Discuss

Heggie will get a very good grade from video. His draft problem will be the extensive injury history. He is our best lineman, smart and can play several positions. In short, he gone.

Stone is gone too imo. You cant teach huge and strong. He reminds me alot of our recent guys like Big Trent or Big Fred who have had surprising careers.

Obviously Braun is a bad ass and may play anywhere in a pinch.

Ditto w Garage, really, or White.

Reese, rough year. I expect him to come back.

White or Reese at C? Eggie?

The only question really is Delance. He doesnt seem to be loving life and may explore some nonfootball future after he gets a talk. I cant even fathom him getting drafted.

Who else on the line? TJ? Tarquin?

I dont know.

The OL will look fine w EJ running option /keeper ball. It will still look stupid w Trash running option if he returns.

Just a guess, but if nobody returns or no transfers added:

Gouraige - White - Eguakun - Braun - Tarquin (White & Braun could be flipped).

White could also play C and Eguakun could play OG.

Harrod would be the back up OT - or - Braun would slide to OT if necessary.

Top back up interior OL likely to be: McDowell or Leonard.

LT - Gouraige or Will Harrod. It is wide open. Both worry me.
LG - White
C - Eguakun
RG - Reese or Braun
RT - Depending on weight loss, Reese or Braun

Heggie and Forsythe are PFAs that could be drafted late round. I’d take a flyer on Forsythe due to his domination of the future 1st round pick from UGly. The same for Heggie. He does have some good tape.

Richie Leonard - According to coaches and players the guy plays strong.

Michael Tarquin - I forget he is only an redshirt freshman. He doesn’t look bad.

Gerald Mincey - I like him. Crowded spot at RT though.

Just as long as Delance moves on we will improve . Similarly in the secondary with dreadful Marco and no talent Stiner . These three bums suck so damn bad . At this point they are simply embarrassing themselves out there week after week.

This is the reason I posed the question. I agree on the concept, although sample size of EJ is relatively small.
As far as Reese is concerned he can walk his ass up out of here and take brother with him for all I care. If it isn’t White then we need to see if Egukan can fill at center and take up where Heggie left off.
What little I’ve seen of Tarquin I like. It would be interesting to see how he does with more reps.
Braun, White and Gouraige are large men that enjoy acts of violence. We haven’t seen that level of meanness since the Pouncey’s left, and I’ve missed it.

Both Reeses are very talented.

And if we dump The Dwag, we may very well need lil Reese. He really has no role innthe Dwag defense though. Maybe DT.
