i agree. The fans weren’t booing Emory. They were booing Dan Mullen idiotic decisions.

I would agree, but some around me were definitely doing a little of both. Whether it is Dan or Emory though, the kid can take it to heart. With that said, I have also in the past pointed out that these are technically adults old enough to be shipped off to possibly die overseas, play in the NBA and go to prison for a long time. Still, not a great look. With that said, I was there chanting "Fire Muschamp" at Mizzou 2014. No question who that was directed at.

8.5 mil. Over a mil per win.

Maybe it will get down to under a mil per win this season. Just need 9.

the offensive yards are fool's gold. they will dry up like swampdcks mom's cooch once conference play starts unless AR has the reigns.

In many, many ways they are. I did want to note that if you had most people guess our numbers, it would be closer to 400-450 and that we haven't put these numbers up against some overmatched teams in the past. Of course scoring is the biggest number of importance, but with two semi-vanilla game plans we put up phenomenal numbers. We are currently the #2 ypg team in the nation and still the #1 rushing attack at 381.5 yards per game. They very well could dry up, or they could just slow down. If we run for 281 a game, a 100+ yard drop, in SEC play, we are still in a good position. If we drop to 150 or less a game, well, Mullen's hand might be forced on Hevesy.

I thought they kept Davis in during the first game because he was on a roll. I kind of expected the rest of the games to go like that this year. If one player seems to be on a roll, keep feeding him the ball. Nope, I too was wrong. Seems our coaching staff just enjoys swapping players out willy nilly so nobody can ever get into a groove. Had it been me, after seeing Pierce absolutely dominate USF on that first drive, I'd have kept feeding him the ball until he stopped getting it done. But hey, what do I know? I don't get paid 6M a year.

What I saw yesterday is they are mainly rotating the drives as Davis>Pierce>Wright repeat. Each RB gets a drive unless they need to leave the game for some reason.

Love Pierce, but like AR Dan has shown over the years it doesn’t matter what you do on game day it’s not enough to earn more time. I stupidly thought he’d let Pierce start taking over the game. Like mama I’m wrong again.

Gators trivia I learned this week on the Twitter machine, #62 who Sandler drop kicks in The Waterboy was played by none other than Gator Great James Bates. He posted a picture with Sandler with him from the set this week on Sandler's birthday.

I forgot to mention. We rotated the O-line quite a bit in the first half. Braun played some and Tarquin appeared at both tackle positions. If I didn't notice it, I would not have a clue about the switch. Except for a total failure in pass protection by Delance on the first drive.

I saw elsewhere that Delance possibly got injured early, but he did play about half the snaps. I was surprised when I saw Tarquin in so early. I couldn't really tell how he did, but it's the first really significant game action he's seen (outside of mop-up duty on the last series or two). Glad he got real game reps, but not sure how ready he is for Alabama or the SEC slate.

The 17 play drive was classic Fat Todd. Allowing Emory to stall drive after drive to start the 2nd half was classic Mullen. Basically, as fans, we're f*cked.
Watching it I wondered if CDM had planned on giving EJ the first series and if he had driven them down and scored, it would have been AR the rest of the way. Instead, EJ throws a pick and CDM feels compelled to leave him in for another series, which also results in a pick. And another series.

They also gave Leonard a few snaps at center.

I liked seeing the backups playing O-Line in the first half. About time they start getting these guys ready.

I have seen enough of Helms at CB. It's time to play Blades.

Henderson has looked good with the ball in his hands. He is playing with more confidence. I hope we start calling plays to get him the ball.

What happened to the TE position?

You should have seen enough of Blades.

The "Arky" transfer (only there a few weeks) is the one earning playing time. He may be starting soon.

Blades is garbage.

Perkins was at Mizzou - but yes, curious what happened w/ Blades. They played Moorer (a walk on) 14 snaps - while Blades and Diwan sat the bench. I don't know if Blades was injured or if he just stinks, but we used a scholarship and a counter on him. smh

Diwun has no chance of being ready. He fuchsed himself AGAIN by not passing his classes. Missing spring and moat of summer meant it was all over for this year. Not only was he not studying, he apparently has never heard of the weightroom. I suspect we will have a new coaching staff soon enough that may well play a strong safety. To me, his frame just doesnt look big enough to ever be an SEC LB.

Hopefully they were punishing Blades for that absudly late hit. Of course usually incidents like that or tossing a shoe result in being made captain. Im not convinced but it would be nice. He is innthe same boat though. Showed up to late to matter.

Unlike Dan Mullins absurdly simpleton playbook, the defensive playbook is actually very very complicated.
