Although I think that Zaire is pretty awful, I cannot defend keeping Franks in the starting role either.
Honestly, if neither of them can move the team and score on an awful Mizzou defense, we should probably pull the red shirt off of Allen and let him at least get his feet wet. Please don't give me the response that we don't want to waste a year of his eligibility.
Allen will either turn into the guy and if so, he will be gone in three years or more likely, he will fail to win the starting job and transfer in a year or so anyway. I believe that our long term starter is probably not on the roster today so I doubt any of this matters

Had to figure this was the route we were going to go, Franks has been given plenty of opportunities and just hasn’t been able to improve. Maybe Zaire can provide a spark in the passing game, at this point is there even another option besides these two?

I agree and I think Zaire deserves a shot too. I hope he plays well and leads UF to four straight wins to close out the season.

I firmly believe the increase in performance on the field will be directly proportional to the increase in distance that mac is from the stadium on game day. I bet we look better from the very start.

Good move. I honestly don't think we're helping Franks by playing him right now. I want to win the remaining games. I have certainly been rejuvenated as a fan by the removal of the wart known as Mac.

Zaire deserves a chance to see what he can do with the Offense. Franks had his chances and the results were not good to put it mildly.

I agree with this sentiment. Tuned out for Georgia. I am at least interested in seeing what changes may have happens since the coaching change. If Zaire make the offense more watchable, then great.

First time ive missed a Florida game in 35 years. Had no interest in watching it. I agree with the poster above play Allen if we have to. First post by the way. I was a long time member gatorsports forum and have been off forums since they closed that one
