Yes. Tried leaving before spring. They had a talk with him. They apparently didn’t keep their word on something so he left for real. He wanted to transfer to Florida in February or around then apparently. So this isn’t something new for him. He wasn’t happy there

I really don’t get the constant references to him as an ILB or true LB at all in our or any system. He is currently a Buck and built like one. Could he grow into a SDE, or play there now because everyone we play is undersized, I suppose? I also suppose Cj Henderson could be slotted at MLB. But it’s not his position.
I know we desperately need and want another MLB, but that doesn’t make this 10th rush end a MLB. While we will move some of them now if they grew even a tiny bit, at least all of the following were brought in for that same position, (Moon, Carter, Diabate, Summerall, Bogle, little Reese, Cox, Greenard, Chatfield, and Zuniga, and that doesn’t count the Alabama kid who recently left, the 5 star bust from Georgia, or Shuler who now plays tackle).

I think it's my fault he keeps getting referred to as a MLB. I initially thought that's what he was when I just glanced at one of his recruiting pages. Hes definitely a buck/rush end/ olb type according to rivals and the other services.

Very telling. Any idea why he picked UF? We were not one of his finalists when he was coming out of HS. I know he and Dean are from the same area, though different HS’s.

Was this before or after he was trying to transfer? If before, it opens a an of worms. Basically, recruiting is never done.
I like the ncaa being so lenient with waivers. It means scum like Richt 2.0 can't lie to kids any more. They can do what Cox did and transfer right out to a rival and not sit out.
