There were 28 FBS/Division 1 Head Coaching changes this off-season.

How would you rank these (top 10 or all 28)?

I'll start:

#28: South Carolina - Will Muschamp
#27:

Didn't even realize Franchione was still coaching. As long as USCw maintains continuity within the Peter Carroll coaching tree, they will suck more and more.

What's the consensus on DJ Durkin at Maryland?

Texas State made a major upgrade w/ Withers.

There were 3 Urban Meyer coaching-tree hires in this group: Withers, Ash (Rutgers), and Durkin (who is probably more of a Harbaugh coaching-tree hire)....and 2 Nick Saban coaching-tree hires: Smart & Muschamp.

The Virginia schools did very well. Illinois, not so much.

Agree both Virginia schools did very well.

Really? I think he'll do very well. He hired a solid staff and he coached under both Meyer & Harbaugh.....he should hire a hypnotist and erase his entire tenure under Muschamp however!

The only thing Durkin did well with Meyer was Special Teams. He didn't do much with Chump and the one big flaw with Harbaugh was... Special Teams.

I think UCF got a good one in Frost and I think Fuentes will do well at VaTech. A couple of old dinosaurs got replaced with some up and coming coaching talent, IMO.
