Miami lands a commitment from a 4-star WR from Tennessee that we were recruiting:

I don't know. At 6'3 190, I'm sure they could beef him up to 200+ and teach him some excellent blocking skills. The funny thing is, we're good at teaching our WR's how to block....but they can't seem to teach our TE's how to block!

It seems like every school in the country is doing some sort of "cookout" or "pool party" this weekend. It's a wonder if we get more than 10 or 20 3-stars from across the 22, 23, & 24 classes....we may need to invite some 2025 kids so we can use two packs of hot dogs. The bill for this thing can't be more than a couple hundred dollars!

We've talked about this ad nauseum, we ain't landing top WR's in this offense on a regular basis. Maybe one "top" WR every few years (like Henderson last year). Getting 3 4-stars in one class, no matter if they are "low 4-stars", is a pretty big accomplishment for this staff. It's just like RB & OL recruiting. I'll take a low 4-star RB any day knowing he'll only get 10 or so carries/game maximum at the peak of his career....and at this point, an OL with a pulse would be better than what we're pulling in (or not pulling in). So if we can get a couple of "low 4-star" OL's I'd be very happy. This ship is f*cking sinking!
