7 of our 12 outs today have been via the strikeout. We never fail to disappoint at the plate.

We do fail at the plate, in the field, on the bases, on the bump. This is the worst Gator team in sully's tenure.

It is truly amazing how awful the pitching staff is at situational pitching. Cags gets the first 2 hitters out in the 4th. he then goes 0-2 on the 8 hole hitter only to go 3-2 and then yield a double. He then walks the 9 hole hitter. But gets out of it but throws potentially 10 more pitches than needed.

The Vandy pitcher is taken out of the game by the umpires with 2 outs and a 3-2 count in the 4th inning leading 2-1. He placed his pitching hand palm completely on his forearm and then wiped his hands off. Sully complained about something and the umps got together but of course on the broadcast there is not explanation but that is what it is about.. And the guy Vandy brings in has injured his back while warming up. He has to come out due to injury. Now that have to bring in another pitcher. Crazy shyt

The Gators deserve all the criticism they get but the vandy pitcher was flat out cheating. Going to the forearm but not actually wiping his hand when reaching behind his back. Regardless, the substance on the forearm is automatic ejection.

Cags out after 5 innings. About 100 oitches. He just goes too deep into counts and he seems to get a decent number of 0-2 1-2 counts on hitters. Just does not seem to be able to put hitters away. Don't know if he tries to be too fine or if he just does not have the control. Either way I have to think if someone could have made AJ Puk into MLB pitcher for this long that a real coach can fix Cags easily. But even if Cags could not pitch he can certainly play 1B and DH.

Fisher in with 4-2 lead. Bottom 6th. Lets see if he can come out of his funk.

Sensational relief appearance by Jameson.

And kudos to Guy for his leadoff at bat in the 9th inning. After falling behind 0-2 against the Vandy Flame thrower, he works the count back to full then singles up the middle. Advances to 2B on a wild pitch, thus allowing the lineup to get back to the Nut for his 2 run double and much needed insurance

I would have thought Clemente would have gotten the start tonight given he was half azz decent last mid week game. But looks like Fisher is scheduled to start. That tells me that Sully knows how horrendous Fisher has been and throwing him out there just to see if he can find the strike zone against a second tier team. Stetson scheduled to start a guy with a double digit ERA that probably rivals a lot of IQ's on here.

No score after one. Offensively Gators managed 3 pop ups that totaled about 300 feet added together. Good job of putting the ball on the ground.

Pitching change for Stetson. 4-0 1 out bottom of 2nd. The Nut singled, Heyman 2 run HR, Kurland hit by pitch, Yost singled, Donay sac bunt, Robertson singled in those two. Amazing that you can have success when you stop those uppercut swings.

2 run HR by Evans. 6-0 Solo HR by Cags the other way 7-0.

Pitching change for UF Fisher out Slater in. Bases loaded no outs. 3 straight singles to start the 3rd. Fisher just cannot locate in plus counts.

Nice job by Slater. FC scores one, great stop by Cags at 1B gets the 2nd out and saves a run then a Slater K. 7-1

Slater out Menendez in to pitch to a lefty with 2 runners on base. 2 2/3rds for Slater and ZERO free passes.

Leadoff error by the Nut at 3B on a wide throw to 1B pulling Cags off the bag. It was a long throw but don;t we have anyone who can play 3B?
