Coppola walks the leadoff hitter on 4 pitches. To be expected. K's the next hitter then yields a 2 run HR to their best hitter. 14th consecutive SEC game the team has trailed in at some point. 6-7 for a reason. May get one more inning out of Coppola as they are talking 40 pitches.

Two run double by the first hitter Peterson faces after getting ahead 0-2. Why our guys cannot see what happens when you just hit balls where they are pitched and not swing for the downs with every swing. RBI single by their best hitter. We need a real hitting coach or any coach that knows hitting.. 5-2 USCe

Especially after Robertson had some of his best swings last night. No one ever accused Sully of being a great game manager. my bad Robertson must be in LF and the Nut at 3B. At least Thomas is on the pine.

Coppola would be starting every mid week game from nowCoppola hits the number 8 hitter and yields a double to the number 9 hitter. Not ideal but will give him a pass. Peterson in, 2 runners on 1 out. Hope it is not another 2 years before we see Coppola again.

I do not think so. We need weekend starting. Peterson has a great arm, throws hard but ball is too straight and a good hitting team can turn him around. Has been like that all season.

He needs innings after a two year hiatus. Get the innings where they don't matter. If bit if we make tournament ball he is ready to go

Understood. But we have at Vandy and then at ARKY. those games are much more important than 2 mid week games in between. If you go 2-6 in those 8 games and the 2 wins are midweek we ain;t going to any tourney.
