Great job by the staff! Does this mean our O-Line coaches are finally hitting their stride on the recruiting side of things? You gotta think with the talent coming in that they'll be able to coach them up into something special.

I have been in very close contact with his mom. I wont take all the credit but I had a part in him deciding to come to Florida.

Colin Simmons is the only one I can see on 247. Didn’t check the other sites for ratings.

No idea, but if he’s firm not a Gator, good for staff. If they get someone else, great. If not, they probably have other positions they can recruit. But if the season goes well, who knows, he might change his mind.

Still need two CBs, perhaps another OL, at least one more skill position on offense.

Most of these giants have relied on their superior size and strength to dominate. Technique will come in time with coaching and experience against SEC foes.

When you're 6'8" 335lbs, that's pretty much always the case in high school. He'll only be a head taller than most in college.

He seems bound for the Longhorns, LSU, or bammer, but Billy has been massacring the recruiting trail in Texas lately so who knows? Let’s get errrbody!

For sure. I do think we'll have some pleasant surprises with this team this fall. This recruiting class will give us something to get by on. I also hppe the current "buy in" from the players are going as well as the recruiting.

I’ve seen articles with Simmons saying that no one knows where he’s going, but that’s pretty common right.

The next item is they said edge. I think UF has two edge positions. A Jack type edge and more of a classic 4-3 DE. I may be off on that. Waller is in the Jack mold of the 225lb hybrid. McCray is what…260 and growing? But the sites seem to consider edge to be the hybrid types.

Anyway, I guess it depends on what the person meant by edge, because Ross and McCray should be playing different positions. Unless they decided that they were happy with Waller and moving on.

Billy Napier and the Gators are red hot on the recruiting trail right now, having just landed offensive tackle Fletcher Westphal.

Going back to the rivals vs on3 discussion, on3 gives us only 2 recruits in their top 100, while rivals gives us 7 in theirs.

I'm one of the ones that hasn't ditched rivals for on3 and I'm hoping that's the right call.
